It was seen as an opportunity for Waveski, with unseen footage of great riding in the Far East. Open your Mind (the first non professional video) was released locally. With overwhelming response from the video, Sub Graviti Productions was founded in October 1999. 2000, World Championships provided excellent surf and with new equipment the cameras were rolling for Sub Graviti. Nicki Carstens took Waveski to a new height at Supertube´s (J-Bay) and in early 2001 the new movie Mutual Addiction was released. The premier was sponsored by Hang Ten and riders from all over the country attended the event. It was a great time for Waveski and Sub Graviti, but South Africa suffered under depression and the company came to a slowdown.

Travelling to Spain in 2001 did not deliver the goods for the third movie. By this time the company relocated and based itself in the UK. SGP was getting back to work on the dream for Waveski. Once again, the ocean had gone flat in the 2002 Worlds, Australia. But it was in Western Australia where we turned up the heat. Excellent surf helped Cryptic Meanings to become a reality. Now with confidence, the company travelled to KS Country (France) and the Worlds 2003, Guadeloupe. Both with excellent results. Cryptic Meanings was the result of 3 years of hard work, believing in the company and the future of Waveski.

SGP News Vol 1.0 was the next DVD launch that was a compiled news events DVD about competitions, trips and development. The Australian public took for the first time notice of our work and with movie sales up we could push on with the next production.

KaziLines hid the market in 2006 as the first ever only free surfing productions to come from Sub Graviti. With assume location such as Morocco, Mexico and Peru the movie turned out to be a best seller at the time.

South Africa saw the worlds top back in the country for a 21 days 4 event World Series that helped to make Amaza Africa a reality in early 2007.

The dream did not stop there while the crew was planning a dream trip to the ultimate destination with a group of the very best riders ever seen in any waveski productions. Gateway to Sorga was released in November 2007 during the first ever World Waveski Tour in France. The movie turned out to be an immediate hid world wide and sold out in 2 months. So much that we made a major USA launch in March 2008 with distribution company Helipress.

Ever dreaming bigger Sub Graviti Productions and the Association of World Waveski Professionals are showcasing a new site together with the Worldriders brand. With the Pro Team and PROtégé young rippers Wordriders are branding their clothing worldwide. Just another step in the right direction of dreaming bigger and better for the sport of Waveski.

Enjoy the ride.
